Match 4 Horst Ritschel a 3, played Larry Hill a 3 in a 2-2 race. Horst won the match 2-0. Point 2 for the Easterners.

Match 5 Shelly Gauthier a 3, played Bryan Bowden a 3 in a 2-2 race. Bryan won the match 2-1 with a Break and Run in the third. Way to go Bryan. This was the 3rd point for the Pocketdevils.

In summary the Pocketdevils win the night 3-2 over the Easterners.

Here are the results of our matches against Feeling The Felt, we put up first in the matches.

Match 1 Perry Osmond a 4, played Heather Windsor a 2 in a 4-2 race.Heather won game one because Perry unfortunately while trying to sink the eight scratched, then Perry came back and won game 2. Game 3 went to Perry also but Heather won game 4 to win the match 2-2. One point for them.

Match 2 Brian Bowden a 3 then played Michelle T. a 4 in a 3-2 race. Brian won game 1, Michelle won games 2,3 and 4 for the win 3-1 over Brian, another point for them.

Match 3 Terry Bowden a 5, then played Steve Milley a 7 in a 5-3 race. Steve Milley won game 1, Terry then won games 2 & 3, Steve then won game 4, game 5 with a break and run, game 6 with another break and run and game 7 for the match. Terry played well but Steve won anyway. Another point for them.

Match 4 Steve Carter a 5, played James Tuttle a 4 in a 4-3 race. James won game 1, Steve won game 2, James won game 3, Steve won game 4 and James ended the match by winning game 5. James played exceptionally well for a 4 but Steve also could have played better. Another point for them.

Match 5 Dave Bowden a six, played Brad Franklin 6 in a 5-5 race. Game 1 went to Dave, Game 2 went to Brad, Game 3 went to Dave, Games 4,5,and 6 went to Brad, Dave won game 7 and Brad finished the match by winning Game 8. The last point going to them.
So to summarize Feeling the Felt won all 5 points, not a good night for the Pocketdevils.

Here are the results from our matches against Behind The 8 Ball, they put up first in the matches.

Match 1 Bob Brownrigg a 5, played Carey Derrick a 5 in a 4-4 race. Carey won game 1, Bob then won Games 2,3 and 4 forcing Carey to have to make a huge comeback in order to win this match which Carey did by winning games 5,6, and 7 for the win of 4-3. Whew that was close but the Pocketdevils get the first point of the night. Nice comeback Carey.

Match 2 Tammy Skinner a 3 then played Larry Hill a 3 in a 3-3 race. Tammy shot really well to take Larry 3 games straight for a 3-0 win for them and their first point of the night. I wonder if Larry will get that monkey off his back that has been causing him so much bad luck in his matches. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Match 3 George Cuvalo a 6, played Dave Bowden a 6 in a 5-5 race next. George came out guns a blazing to win game 1. Dave then came back to win games 2,3 and 4 to put the pressure on George who then came back to win games 5,6,7 and 8 to finish Dave off. Bad luck for Dave again who seems to have fallen prey to Larrys' monkey. That's the second point for them.

Match 4 Laura Glober a 4? then played Perry Osmond a 4 in a 3-3 race. Perry won 3 straight for our second point of the night. I watched most of this match and thought maybe I should have brought a pail and shovel. You really need one when Laura plays LOL. Nice shooting anyway Perry.

Match 5 Jim Hedger a 4, then played Steve Carter a 5 in a 4-3 race. Steve won games 1 and 2, Jim won game 3, Steve then won game 4, Jim game 5 and finally Steve won game 6 for the 4-2 win. Point number 3 for the Pocketdevils, It's a good thing Laura did'nt play Steve or everyone would have thought they were caught in one big sand storm.
So to summarize we won the night with a 3-2 victory over Behind The 8 Ball. Speaking with the Captain after the match he made a referance jokingly about sending a couple of players to the minors. Who and what did he mean by that.Other notes: I hope I am not offending anyone by some of the comments here because they are all made in good fun, because that's what the Pocketdevils are all about. Here are the results of our matches when we played the team called Bust Them Balls. We put up first in the matches.

Match 1 Bryan Bowden our 3, played Joanne Gordon a 2 in a 3-2 race. Bryan won game 1, Joanne won game 2 when Bryan scratched on the eight. Joanne then won game 3, Tough luck for Bryan this 2-1 win for Joanne gave them their first point.

Match 2 Larry our other 3 then played Ray Malandrino a 3 in a 2-2 race. Larry lost the first game, then came back to win game 2 only to scratch on the black in game 3. This was a 2-1 win for them again for another point, now we are down by 2 going into match number 3 .

Match 3 Paul Cummins our 7, now played Milt Carter their 5 in a 5-3 race. Paul won the first 2 games 1 inning each, then won game 3 with a break and run. Paul then finished Milt off with 2 more 3 inning wins for a 5-0 victory giving us our first point of the night. Great shooting by Paul.

Match 4 Terry bowden one of our 5's, then played Robert Skarnikat their 6 in a 5-4 race. Terry lost game 1, won game 2, lost game 3 and the 4th game was a stategic battle won by Terry. He then won game 5 to get to the hill but then lost games 6,7 and 8 to Robert to lose the match 5-3. That's a third point for the other team. Tough luck Terry thought you had him.

Match 5 Steve Carter another 5 then played Darren Gammon their 4 in a 4-3 race. Steve won the first game but then lost game 2 to Darren because he did'nt use the rake. Steve then fought back to win games 3,4 and 5 for the 4-1 win over Darren giving us point number 2 on the evening.
So in summary we lost the night 3-2 but they were all good matches.Other notes: Dave was benched due too last weeks performance or lack there of. Sorry Dave just wrote what was on the sheet LOL:)

Here are the results of our matches on February 21, against the Sharks.The Sharks put up first in the matches.

Match 1 Wayne Eades a 6, played David Bowden our 6 in a 5-5 race. Wayne proved to be more on his game then Dave, by taking 5 games straight. Dave almost took game 5 but unfortunately scratched on the 8 ball. So Wayne won 5-0 giving the Sharks point number 1.

Match 2 Shannon Kadoski a 3, played Bryan Bowden our 3 in a 2-2 race. Bryan won game 1. Shannon won game 2. Then Bryan won game 3 for a 2-1 win for Bryan, giving the Pocketdevils their first point of the night. Nice shooting Bryan. Did you ever consider giving your dad some lessons? Sorry Dave could'nt resist:)

Match 3 Tom Sorlie a 6, then played Paul Cummins our 7 in a good 5-5 match. Tom won game 1. Paul won games 2 & 3. Tom won game 4. Paul then won games 5 & 6. Tom won game 7. Paul then won game 8 to finish the match 5-3. Great match guys. This win gave the Pocketdevils another point for a 2-1 lead.

Match 4 Jean Jones a 3, played Larry Hill our 3 in a 2-2 race. Jean won game 1 with a little luck only because Larry missed the eight ball giving Jean a ball in hand on the eight in the first game. Larry then won game 2. Jean then won game 3 because Larry had more bad luck and sunk the eight early. The pool gods sure were not on Larrys' side tonight. This win gave the Sharks another point to tie up the night.

Match 5 Sandy Warren a 3, Played our illustrious Captain Perry Osmond a 4 in a 3-2 race. Perry shot great and won this match in 3 games straight for a 3-0 victory over Sandy. That's another point for us.
To summarize the Pocketdevils won the night by a score of 3-2 over the Sharks another good night. I hope this win puts the Pocketdevils in First.

Here are the results of our match on February 14, against the Sewer Rats. We started the night in second place with the Easterners and the Sharks tied for first.

Match 1 Bryan Bowden our 2, played Phil Keates a 3. Bryan shocked Phil and won this match in 2 games straight for a 2-0 win over Phil. Great job Bryan, that's 1 point for the Pocketdevils.

Match 2 Steve Carter our 5, played Bill Caulkwell a 4. Steve took game 1, Bill won game 2, Steve won game 3, Bill took game 4, finally Steve took games 5 & 6 for the win 4-2. Tough match but another point for the Pocketdevils.

Match 3 Larry Hill our 3, played Barb Keates a 2. Barb won game 1 putting the pressure on Larry. So Larry answered the call and won the next 3 games straight for the 3-1 win. Great comeback by Larry and another point for the Pocketdevils.

Match 4 Terry Bowden our 5, then played Nelson Alves a 4. Terry won game 1, Nelson won game 2, Nelson then won game 3 . Terry also made a strong comeback and won games 4,5 and 6 for the 4-2 win over Nelson. One more point for the Pocketdevils.

Match 6 Dave Bowden our 6, played Jeff Reiewick a 6 in a see-saw battle. Dave won game 1, Jeff won game 2, Dave won games 3 & 4, Jeff won game 5, Dave took game 6 and Jeff came back and took games 7 & 8 bringing the match to hill-hill. Dave then won game 9 in this tough match for the 5-4 win. Great match Dave and Jeff, and the Pocketdevils secure their fifth point of the night.
In summary the final score was 5-0 in favor of the Pocketdevils. Great night guys. This score has now I beleive tied the Pocketdevils for first with the Easterners. See you next week.

Here are the results of our match on February 07, against the team Tight Rack.

Match 1 Mark Hodgins a 2, played Larry Hill our 3. Mark won game 1, Larry won game 2, and Mark won game 3 for a 2-1 win for his team.

Match 2 Brigitte Van De Laar a 3, played Bryan Bowden our 2 no longer a 4. Brigitte won the first game when Bryan scratched on the eight. Bryan then won the second game. Brigitte won games 3 and 4 for the win 3-1 for her team.

Match 3 Kevin Hodgins a 2, played Carey Derrick our 4. Carey won games 1,2,3. Kevin won game 4. Carey then won game 5 for the win 4-1. One point for us.

Match 4 Claudio Faria a 5, played Steven Carter our 5. Claudio won the first game. Steve then won the next 4 straight for the win 4-1. Another point for us.

Match 5 Jeff Evans a 6, trhen played David Bowden our 6. Jeff won games 1 and 2, Dave won games 3 and 4, Then Jeff won games 5,6 and 7 for the win 5-2. Another point for them.
So in summary it was 3 points for Tight Rack and 2 for the Pocketdevils, better luck next time I hope for us.

The Pocketdevils have gotten off too a great start this spring session,we are sitting in second place after 3 weeks. We have 2 Regional spots already hopefully on our way to a third. Wish us luck.
